15 Months Old

At 15 months, you started walking! You love playing in the snow, and dressing up in snow boots and your snow suit. You have also developed a love of pizza. Your favorite toy are your blocks, and you enjoy building large towers. You also love art. All you need is a crayon and a piece of paper, and you are so happy.

1 Year Old!

This year has been a blast with you, Abby. You are cruising around, and getting ready to start walking all by yourself now. You said later to the bottle, and hello to the sippy cup with whole milk...which you love!

We had a very large party with bubbles, and a sprinkler set up for your birthday. It was also your first time having ice cream cake...and you weren't so into it. I'm sure that will change soon!

11 1/2 Months!

Wow! You have grown so much. You are cruising everywhere around our house, and you can clearly say Mama and Dada.

You also love to chat on the phone in your own private language that Mama and Dada are trying to learn. You've said "Yellow" and "Red," and perhaps a bunch of other words we couldn't understand yet.

Your favorite foods right now are cheese and tofu, but blueberries win the prize of favorite food of all time. You've eaten mac n' cheese and loved it, but for some reason you're not into chicken or beef yet. We'll keep trying though!

Every day you develop more. You're hair is blond with little curls in the back. You're very tall compared the other kids in daycare, and everyone always comments on what a good girl you are. I have to agree that you are a very happy baby!

We went on another family vacation...this time in Puerto Rico. You loved it! You love the pool, and we have been also going to the local pool in Hastings on Hudson.

You also went to your first movie. You were so good. You chomped on cherios and sipped your bottle throughout, and enjoyed every minute of it. The movie was a documentary titled "Babies."

We can't wait until your birthday on August 9th. It's been an amazing first year for you, and for us. We love being your parents. Your birthday party is on August 7! We plan on ordering an ice cream cake that you'll be able to try for the first time as a one year old!

Love you!

8+ Months

At 6 months you reached many milestones, but they are still coming! You recently started crawling. It's soooo adorable how you wiggle around, and make sure to get to anything you want. You usually can be found going for a toy that you just have to have.

You've become a fantastic eater. Daddy makes you organic sweet potatoes, and that is certainly one of your favorite meals. You are starting to use a sippy cup, too. You love water!

Your teeth have started to sprout, and we think more are on the way because you love chomping on you teethers.

Now that the weather is nice, you have enjoyed going to the park and sitting in the swing. You are quite inquisitive, and always listen in on other peoples conversations! If you look closely, you can see two bottom teeth sprouting in this photo.

You recently attended services at Temple. You went on stage with your daddy when they called up the grandkids, and great grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. You were so well behaved, and everyone said how cute you were.

The giggles keep coming, and make everyone so happy. Your daycare provider said that they have never had such a happy baby before. You are awesome!

Lastly, you're very chatty, and we wouldn't be surprised if you started to talk early. You already say all sorts of things, and you give air kisses. You've said: mama, dada, baba, lalalala, ba, etc...

Oh, and you can lead a Yoga class if you wanted to. You have all of the moves down!

6 1/2 Months

Wow! You have grown so much. You can sit up by yourself, and can crawl backwards. At your 6 month check-up, you were already 16.4 lbs. Oh, and your smile lights up the room and your giggles keep getting better.

You are also extremely vocal. We're not sure what you are trying to say, but you are definitely speaking your own language.

You were on a plane recently, and everybody was so impressed with how well behaved you were. I don't think you made one peep. Thanks for being so great!

Foods you've tasted:

Apple, Banana, Rice cereal, Oatmeal, Sweet Potato

Things you've said:

Happy Almost 5 Months!

The time has flown by! You are almost 5 months old already! We can't believe how lucky we are to have you in our lives.

You have developed a lot over the past few months. It's amazing to watch you grow! You are about 14 1/2 lbs now. You can almost sit up on your own, and you will be eating real food in the next few weeks. We can hardly wait!

Your smiling often, and your giggles make everyone so happy. We love to hear them. They start out slow, and get more and more active as we make funny faces or voices to you.

You are still quite the snuggler, and we love it!

We took you to the Bahamas which you definitely enjoyed. You loved being in the pool, and looked adorable in your shades.
Every Tuesday we go to Mother Goose at the library in Hastings on Hudson, and you love it. There is a lot of music and singing which you like. The best part is when we get you to hop like a bunny!
You had your first Hanukkah! You went to your Great Aunt Ketty in Queens, to your Poppi and Nanna's place, and to your Grandma and Grandpa in the Berkshires. It was great!
